Future Portfolio CEO (Ongoing / Pipeline Role)

While we may not have a current CEO role available at the time of application, we actively build relationships with high-quality candidates so we can move quickly when new acquisitions close or leadership needs arise within our portfolio.

About the Role

The role of CEO within the Curious portfolio is one of the most exciting opportunities we offer. Portfolio CEOs act as true owners of the businesses we acquire and partner with, operating with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.

You will drive the future of the company — building your team, shaping product direction, and leading go-to-market and revenue strategy — with support from the Curious Head Office team.


Core Responsibilities

  • Establish a clear vision for the business, including the strategy and steps required to achieve it

  • Build and hire a high-performing team aligned with that vision

  • Partner with Curious finance to develop financial projections and identify growth opportunities

  • Design and implement incentive structures that align the team with long-term success

  • Carry forward and build upon the foundation set by the founders we partner with


Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating within a startup environment — this is a non-negotiable.

You are self-driven, resourceful, and capable of charting your own path. You’ve led or been deeply involved in revenue functions (sales, marketing, customer success), have owned or influenced a P&L, and have experience building and leading teams.
